The season is calling - This wine is made from Vermentino, but in Corsica it goes by Vermentinu. Touche Corsica! Corsica is in the Mediterranean and further south than the most famous region for growing Vermentino: Liguria. Thus this expression takes on more of a warm sun kissed energy. The wine is all curves and low soft fruit. There is no shrill acid or racy minerals here. We are dancing close to the ground but in the most beautiful way. The wine is soft, tantalizing and so smooth. Antoine can do no wrong– so classy!!
Serving temp: Fridge cold!
Pairing: Roasted salmon would be lovely! Or something Moroccan influenced.
