This wine is a gorgeous blend of Gamay and Syrah that is simply delicious! We tasted it and went: YES this is AWESOME! It’s also made with the meticulous care and attention that Caracciolo is known for. This is their side hustle project called Private Property which aims to highlight the organic farming community of Monterey County. The Caracciolo family partners with lots of amazing small farmers and purchases their fruit to showcase how well it is grown. Dope Fruit Only! The wine is made in Monterey County, it’s one of the most beautiful areas of California with a bomb diurnal climate. The Santa Lucia Highlands can do no wrong. The resulting wine is really punchy and cool. It can be served chilled and is a complex wine that over delivers in my opinion.
Serving temp: Can be a chilled red! Or cellar temp around 65 degrees!
Pairing: A Cozy bowl of chili! Some seasonal soup! Grilled cheese!
