This is one classy wine from the Willamette Valley. Crowley is a terroir driven estate that has focused their pinot noir production on grapes derived from Pommard clones (from Burgundy) that have a focus on late ripening and good acidity. The family has been making wine since 2005 and owns and operates all of their own vineyards. They have a preference for higher elevation/ cooler sites that coaxes the dopeness out of the pinot noir grapes. Basically more balance and less of a clunky & over ripe pinot. Entre Nous is a blend of four specific sites of their vineyards and it all comes together as a soft, elegant, round and smooth pinot noir. When you smell the wine in the glass you get upfront aromatics of cranberry and hibiscus, kind of a crunchy red fruit energy, but this freshness transforms as the wine sits in the glass and then hits your palate. It’s a vacation from your problems LOL
Serve cellar temp, serve around 65 degrees. Store in a dry and cool spot!
