San Rocco is a single vineyard perched on a hilltop between the Barolo and Barbaresco zones. DeForville is old school, and making some old school wines! After emigrating from Belgium to Piemonte in 1848, the DeForville family eventually established themselves in Barbaresco around 1860 and instantly took to growing Nebbiolo grapes. Quintessential Italian energy!
NOTES: Robust tannins, some strawberry jam coupled with leather and pomegranate crunch.
Pairing: Chicken with lemon caper sauce; sauteed mushroom anything!
