Grolet is a biodynamic producer in Bordeaux, more specifically in the Cotes de Bourg and the wine is made from a classic combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Also a touch of malbec!! The wine is medium to full bodied, but maintains an awesome back bone and amazing nuance. What's also cool about this wine is that part of its dynamic energy comes from the fact that the vines are planted in deeper clay soil with gravel on top.
Serving temp: Cellar temp around 65 degrees, store in a dark and cool spot.
Pairing: Steak Frites would be absolutely classic.
