Valentin Desloges offers a fresh perspective on a grape that is on the more common side. Les Quatre Piliers makes three levels of wine, this is their entry level Sauvignon Blanc made from a blend of two of the family's plots. Typically the Touraine as a wine growing area within the Loire valley produces varying levels of Sauvignon Blanc, some very casual but some producers have incredible plots and thus produce more terroir-driven top cuvees are being made. Dynamic, textured, exciting - this wine featuring subtle notes of herbs, citrus and flinty minerality.
